Catalog description

A mandatory course for school counseling students. A goal of the course: extend and deepen the clinical experience for school counselors in-training in the real world. The intern is given field-based opportunities under supervision for an academic year. The course is a total of 3 credits and 300 clock hours spent in counseling service in a school counseling setting. Students must have successfully passed the School Counseling Qualifying Exam before entering into Internship. Keywords: Counselor interns, field experience.
