Catalog description
This course is designed to develop the knowledge and skills required to effectively intervene and assist children, adults, and families during times of crisis. This history and development of crisis intervention in schools and community settings will be examined and will acquaint students with major theories of crisis intervention. Prerequisites: EDPC 5317 and EDPC 5341 with a grade of "B" or better, and departmental approval. Restricted to major of School Counseling.
