Catalog description

This course provides an examination of the design, implementation and evaluation of activities and environments for young children to encourage learning related to STEAM [Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics] in diverse bilingual contexts. It covers how environmental interactions, socio-cultural relationships, STEM process skills/practices and artistic expression interact to form the basis of early inquiry, problem solving, critical and creative thinking, and STEAM conceptual development in young children.
