Structure and function of the U.S health care system and the processes governing the development of health care legislation. Principles of organizational leadership given currently issues facing the U.S health care system including access to care, funding, quality improvement, workforce shortages, evidence based outcomes and information management. Students will have the opportunity to explore their advocacy role as future health care providers.
