Cyber-Sec for Critical Op Tech

Catalog description

The course explores a variety of topics associated with the cyber-security of operational technology supporting critical sectors as defined by the U.S Department of Homeland Security. The course provides hands-on experience on the construction and configuration of cyber-infrastructures to secure critical operational technology components such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). Students work in teams to simulate an operational technology component using off-the-shelf hardware and software, and design a secure cyber-infrastructure to prevent the component from being compromised.
