Catalog description

Survey of professional software construction techniques and practices including agile development, software tools and environments, configuration management, defect tracking, coding style, coding standards, cross-compilation, techniques for optimization (time, space, and I/O bandwidth), refactoring, software maintenance, and software development automation. Provides an integrated view of subjects related to the different phases of software development. Prerequisites: CS 5386 or consent of instructor. Restricted to majors of CS and SWE.
