Catalog description

This course is a foundational course that explores the essential genetic principles as applied to medial laboratory science content domains such as clinical chemistry, infectious diseases, blood banking (immunohematology), hematology, and molecular diagnostics. Pre-analytical, analytical, and post analytical aspects of medical laboratory analysis will be discussed. Laboratory techniques will be discussed in CLSC 4310.
