Theories In African American Studies (3-0) A survey of major theories of the Afican American Experience as seen through the works of African American scholars and writers from the 19th century to the present. Authors studied range from Carter G. Woodson, and Anna J. Cooper and W.E.B. Du Bois to current Afrocentric intellectuals (Bell Hooks, Molefie Asante, Cornell West, and Henry L. Gates).
