Directed Individual Study

Catalog description

A planned special study on an academic topic, a Directed Individual Study (DIS) is directed and evaluated by a member of the graduate higher education administration faculty. Enrollment is restricted to graduate doctoral students who have demonstrated both academic ability and the capacity for independent work. Approval by the program coordinator and the Department Chair/Dean of the College of Education and Human Development in advance of registration is required.
