Catalog description
The second part of a multidisciplinary, experiential class that explores the environmental, social, technological, economic, scientific, and political issues facing the Gulf. Course activities will integrate students’ diverse disciplinary backgrounds and experiences. In addition to traditional course delivery modes, the course includes guest speakers, field trips, and service-learning components. Special emphasis on social responsibility, ethical reasoning, interdisciplinary and integrative learning.
