Writing Fiction

Catalog description

Students will read and analyze a range of contemporary, historic, or speculative fiction with a focus on craft and applications to composing their own original work. Students practice forms and techniques of fiction writing and explore publication and career options. Workshop setting with an emphasis on working with feedback, revision, and sustained writing practice. Open to students of all levels and majors.
