Writing for Publication in Higher Education

Catalog description

This course addresses topics in writing for publication in higher education including the writing process, composition, organization, collaboration, and the identification of forums for dissemination of research and scholarship. This course provides students with an understanding of academic writing principles. Students will develop writing habits and goal setting techniques needed to become a successful academic writer. Extensive writing is required.
