Young Children and the Creative Arts

Catalog description

This course will provide students with the knowledge and understanding needed to select appropriate techniques to support young children and the creative arts. Students will use the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines and the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills to develop activities that support young children’s personal expression through visual arts, music, creative movement, dance, and theatre.
