This course explores the foundational concepts of robotics, with a focus on the algorithms and applications that drive modern intelligent systems. Topics include robot design, control systems, sensors, actuators, and programming. Students will delve into key areas such as kinematics, motion planning, obstacle avoidance, control systems, and AI-driven decision-making. Through practical experience with robotic systems and software tools, students will gain the skills to design, program, and control robots for autonomous task execution, building a strong foundation in robotics. The course includes a substantial programming project.
