Diversity in Counselor Education

This course provides students with the awareness, knowledge, and skills required of counselors, counselor educators, and counseling supervisors to be effective leaders and advocates in an increasingly pluralistic and diverse society. The course will provide students opportunities to develop multicultural competencies by critically examining how issues related to social justice and diversity impact various therapeutic, instructional, consultative, and supervisory relationships.
