Catalog description
This course is an overview of the major ecosystems in the New and Old World tropics with an emphasis on tropical forests. The course will explore three major themes: community structure and assembly, patterns and processes, and threats and conservation. This will be a hybrid, seminar-style course with a focus on case studies and journal readings/discussion. Offered Fall. Stacked with BIOL 4346 .
