Catalog description
Detailed examination of the human body, organized by organ system. Primary emphasis on gross anatomy supported by use of virtual cadaver, animal organ dissections and 3-D models, plus cell and tissue-level anatomy supported by microscope slides and histological images. For allied health professional majors, but geared toward pre-professional students aspiring for MD, DO, DDS, etc. Students applying to PA, PT, OT, and OD or other allied-health professional schools should check with those admissions offices to determine if course substitutes for BIOL 2410 or BIOL 2402 .
