Catalog description

This course integrates principles of quality management with applied statistical analysis to prepare students for data-driven decision making in technology and business environments. Students will study quality systems and standards such as Six Sigma, ISO 9001, and industry-specific frameworks, while also developing proficiency in statistical tools including data presentation, probability distributions, sampling methods, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, and control charts. Emphasis is placed on continuous improvement, root cause analysis, process capability, and corrective action planning. By combining managerial concepts with quantitative methods, students will gain the ability to measure, analyze, and improve organizational processes to enhance customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and overall performance.
