Field Instruction I

Catalog description

Students enrolled in this course participate in educationally directed field practice, under supervision, in a social service agency. Students must complete a total of 160 clock hours of work in the field agency and attend a weekly university-instructed campus seminar designed to help students process and understand field experiences. Prerequisites: SWK 2361 , 2362, 2389, 322, 325, 328, 329, 331, 348, 350, 370. Permission from the department is required; a GPA of 2.5 overall in the major is required to enter the field. Restricted to social work majors.
