Catalog description
This course introduces students to the practical applications of sociological knowledge and methods in professional and community settings. Emphasis is placed on developing skills for real-world impact, which may include grant writing, nonprofit management, program development, and evaluation strategies. Students will engage with case studies and hands-on projects to explore how sociological insights can address social problems, strengthen organizations, and inform evidence-based decision making.
