Catalog description

This course focuses on the development of appropriate classroom relationships based on current theory and research. This includes social emotional practices, positive behavior interventions and supports, analysis of legal and ethical issues as they relate to classroom relationships, and field experiences in a variety of secondary environments. Prerequisites: SED 300 with a minimum grade of C. Minimum GPA of 2.65, Department Approval, and field based experience required.
