Internship in Clinical Psychology

Catalog description

Advanced practice in clinical psychology, with placement in either the on-campus clinic or another site approved by the course instructor and the applied program coordinator. Emphasis will be on greater autonomy in practice and will focus on delivery of psychotherapy services and related assessments. The instructor of record will provide campus-based supervision, and, for field-site placements, the student clinician will secure a face-to-face supervisor at the field site. Course needs to be taken twice for a total of 6 credit hours. Prerequisites: three semester hours PSY 691 passed with a grade of B or better and consent of instructor or applied program coordinator.
