Personality Theories and Assessment

Catalog description

The course will examine theories of personality, the socio-emotional, behavioral and cultural aspects of personality and informal assessments for children and adults as part of the diagnostic process. Psychometric and ethical considerations with the use of these techniques will be considered. Computerized testing and scoring of personality tests and techniques will also be covered. Prerequisites: Concurrent or prior enrollment in PSY 572 or 503.
