Theory and Techniques of Applied Psychology

Catalog description

An introduction to the history of psychology, theoretical models and their applications which are useful across a range of practical human situations. These include educational contexts, individual and group consultation, and organizations. Both assessment and intervention models will be presented, with an emphasis on their relationship. Active practitioners will discuss and demonstrate selected intervention techniques. Prerequisite: Graduate standing.
