Catalog description

Overview of fundamental principles and practices of irrigation systems management. Topics include soil–water–plant relationships, evapotranspiration estimation, irrigation scheduling, efficiency evaluation, water quality issues, and modern technologies. Sustainable and efficient water management practices for minimizing impacts on water resources and the environment will be emphasized. Prerequisites: PLS 381 or PLS 320 or instructor approval.
