Through an interdisciplinary approach, examines the multifaceted, intricate mechanisms of interaction between biological, environmental, and psychosocial factors contributing to disease onset and progression; Delves into critical thinking and analytical skills vital for understanding the pathophysiological bases of illnesses commonly encountered in nursing practice; Integrates knowledge of normal physiology with aberrant physiological responses. Prerequisites: Admission to the Nursing Program, Nursing BSN Major.
