Catalog description
This course builds on the theoretical foundations of teaching and learning, equipping preservice teachers with strategies to apply literacy learning across grade levels and in various music classroom settings. It also explores differentiated instruction for unique learners such as students with special needs and Emergent Bilingual Learners. Finally, classroom management will be addressed as well as both formal and informal assessment methods. Prerequisites: Completion of JLPE and acceptance into music teacher licensure program (EPP).
