Guitar Accompanying

Catalog description

This course provides guitar majors with the fundamentals of guitar accompanying, addressing sight-reading, rehearsing and performances of collaborative vocal and instrumental repertoire in a variety of styles. The course develops ensemble skills (balance, dynamics, articulations, rhythm, timing) in collaborative performance, and the development of effective rehearsal and performance techniques.
