Catalog description
A writing intensive class that teaches how to create and edit professional and technical communication genres. Focus is on performing usability testing, user experience (UX), and interface, information, and multimodal design. Students engage in rhetorical methods for studying professional and technical communication, including service learning, community-engagement, and cultural approaches. Secondary emphasis includes designing electronic, professional and academic portfolios of polished professional and technical communication genres for use in future job searches. Prerequisites: ENG 1302 .
