Catalog description

This course offers a comprehensive overview of classroom management strategies based on widely-used support systems and behavioral interventions. Students will explore techniques for setting clear expectations, establishing consistent routines, and utilizing positive reinforcement to encourage desired behaviors. Additionally, participants will explore methods for addressing challenging behaviors through effective intervention strategies, all while maintaining student engagement and fostering a supportive classroom community. Prerequisites: ELED 300 with a minimum grade of C or concurrent enrollment and admission to the Educator Preparation Program.
