The purpose of this course is to examine leadership philosophies, practices, and policies that support effective and respectful learning environments for all students. The course will emphasize strategies that foster high expectations for student development. Participants will explore approaches for understanding students' backgrounds and experiences, promoting support, and analyzing organizational structures at the campus, district, and state levels that influence student outcomes.
