Catalog description

This course introduces the study of human behavior in organizational settings, with an emphasis on how individuals and groups influence and are influenced by organizations. Topics include motivation, perception, decision-making, leadership, communication, group dynamics, organizational culture, and change processes. Through readings, case analyses, and/or experiential exercises, students will develop an understanding of how behavioral theories and concepts apply to real managerial contexts. MBA and MS Leadership students should take this course during their first semester of enrollment.<br/>
