Catalog description

This course provides a comprehensive overview of project management. The culture, principles, and basic techniques of project management are addressed using the project life-cycle as the primary organizational guideline. The project management functions of planning, organizing, motivating and controlling with an emphasis on the application to business and technology are explained. Basic tools of project management such as work breakdown structure, scheduling, earned value analysis, and risk management are explained and demonstrated. Prerequisite(s): BUSI 3301, BUSI 3311, and either MGMT 3301 or MGMT 3350.<br/>
