Counseling Applications

Catalog description

Counseling applications focuses on integrating counseling knowledge – theories, diagnostic skills, individual counseling skills, and group counseling skills with application. The course will include counseling observations, case conceptualizations, supervision, assessment of the student, clinical documentation, clinical consultation, and a review of the applicable codes of ethics. This course prepares the counseling student for practicum and internship. Prerequisite(s): Prerequisites: COUN 5350, 5365, 5353, 5354, 5357, 5358. Corequisite: COUN 5307.<br/>
