Catalog description

This course covers ethical and legal issues that affect the practice of professional counseling in a variety of settings. Students will become familiar with a variety of ethical codes as well as laws regulating the profession. Students will be expected to utilize ethical-decision-making models and codes of ethics to analyze cases, analyze content appropriate to their program emphases, apply relevant codes of ethics and laws, and demonstrate understanding of critical legal and ethical content. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the CMHC program.<br/>
