Computer Technology and Impact

Catalog description

Explores computer technology with special attention to its impact on home, work, and school. Many topics are presented: hardware and software fundamentals, essential applications, telecommunications, internet, artificial intelligence, programming, and the future of these technologies. Students work with word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software; other applications; and a programming language. No prior computer experience is necessary. Students may not receive credit for BCIS 1305 or COSC 1301, and CIS 3300.<br/>
