Catalog description

This course provides a comprehensive exploration of forensic accounting and investigative auditing techniques. Students will examine the full cycle of forensic investigations, including the evaluation of internal controls, analysis of account balances, and interpretation of corroborative evidence. Key topics include the use of flowcharts, statistical sampling, computer controls, and management audits. Students will gain hands-on experience through collaborative work on an extended case audit, applying forensic accounting methodologies to real-world scenarios.<br/>
