Catalog description

Study the design and implementation of complex accounting information systems. Understand the traditional accounting model and its relationship to each type of accounting information system, including accounts receivable, inventory control, cost accounting, operational budgeting, and capital budgeting. Special emphasis on key elements of a well-designed management control system. Prerequisite(s): To enroll in this course, students must have completed ACCT 2301 or ACCT 3300, or have received permission from the Department Chair.<br/>
