Introduction to the articulatory phonetics and foundational phonology of Russian. This course examines how Russian sounds are produced, organized, and patterned within the language. Students will develop a clear understanding of the Russian sound system while building a foundation in phonological analysis applicable to other languages. Beneficial for learners of Russian, the course can enhance pronunciation, listening comprehension, and oral expression. For students interested in linguistics, it provides valuable foundational knowledge in phonetics and phonology. No prerequisites. Taught in English.
