An analysis of the central role of the Texas State Legislature in shaping public policy. Emphasis on real-world policymaking. Students intern at the Texas state capitol and produce analyses of public policy issues. Enrollment restricted to those in the Texas Legislative Fellowship Program. Prerequisite: POLS 2311 , POLS 2312 , and permission of the department.
