Catalog description

Provides an introduction to qualitative methodology, focusing on tools for analyzing social and political phenomena. Covers various qualitative methods, including case comparisons, process tracing, Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA), and approaches to data collection such as fieldwork, participant observation, interviews, and archival research. Ethical considerations in data collection will also be addressed. Prerequisite: POLS 2311 and POLS 2312 .
