Catalog description

Practical training for performing musicians in professional career development. Topics include audition and resume preparation, freelance and gig management, mock interviews, communication strategies, business portfolio, studio teaching, community engagement, health and wellness for musicians, and advising on summer programs. Students gain skills to support careers as performers, educators, and entrepreneurs. Prerequisite: C or better in MUSI 3270 .
