Catalog description

This course focuses on building, validating, and deploying predictive models in survey data for pricing, product design, customer targeting, and market positioning decisions. Students learn multiple regression, logistic regression, discriminant analysis, factor analysis, and conjoint analysis to quantify demand drivers, predict customer behavior, segment high-value customers, and optimize product-price bundles. Through hands-on software training, case studies, and expert visits, students develop skills in framing business questions, selecting appropriate methods, validating models, and communicating actionable recommendations to stakeholders. Prerequisite: MARK 5327 , BSTAT 5325 , or consent from the MSMR Program Director.
