Catalog description

Advanced study of the physiological mechanisms governing human performance and physical conditioning. This course examines the intricate bioenergetic, cardiorespiratory, and neuromuscular responses and to acute and chronic physical stress. Emphasis is placed on the physiological adaptations resulting from exercise and the impact of diverse environmental conditions on human function. Students will bridge the gap between theoretical principles and their application within the field of exercise science through robust, hands-on laboratory experiences. Prerequisites: KINE 3415 , KINE 3325 , MATH 1302 (or MATH 1402 ) and MATH 1308 . KINE 4415 is a co/pre-requisite.
