This course explores design from the perspective of human interaction with the environment in which they live. A focus on the physical, social, psychological, social, and cultural factors that influence design decisions. is a fundamental premise of this course. Students understand that the design of the built environment is based on the continual motion of life, social systems, and symbiotic human relationships. Human behavioral theories are integrated into the course. Prerequisites: Senior standing in the program. Minimum 2.8 GPAs both cumulative and within the major required.
