Catalog description

Students explore more complex spatial problems through the application of design principles and integration of research to inform decisions. Concepts and programmatic requirements are developed based on human-behavioral needs to create functional and aesthetic solutions in the context of the building system. Students expand their knowledge of color, furniture, furnishings, and equipment systems, and ergonomics and accessibility are introduced. Visualization and presentation skills are emphasized. Prerequisite: "C" or better in ARCH 2303 , INTD 2451 , credit or concurrent enrollment in ARCH 2304 and INTD 2343 . Restricted to Interior Design-intended and Architecture-intended majors.
