Catalog description
This course provides an in-depth study of the principles of crime scene investigation. Aspects of forensic crime scene investigation will be presented from scientific, procedural, and legal perspectives, including receiving the call, arriving at the scene, protecting and securing the scene, evidence collection and safety protocols. The tools, techniques, and protocols necessary to perform a systematic and thorough crime scene investigation will be presented at an advanced level.
