Catalog description
This course is designed for students preparing for careers in health care who would like exposure to clinical procedures and patient interactions as well as strengthening their interpersonal and communication skills. Students will get hands-on experience with medical procedures such as injections, auscultations, EKGs, and labor and delivery. Students will also interact with patients through simulations including taking vitals and patient history. Prerequisite: BIOL 3442 or BIOL 3446 .
