Catalog description

This course develops students' critical thinking and design skills by examining their relevance to contemporary illustration. It challenges students to apply their personal media knowledge within the field and to explore multiple fine art strategies, recognizing that illustration does not depend on a single method. Through an emphasis on clear pictorial communication, problem-solving, craftsmanship, and professional growth, the course equips students with the versatility needed to succeed as professional illustrators. Prerequisite: ART 2308 or Permission of Instructor.
