Catalog description

Visual Studies I introduces foundational techniques in hand drawing and model making. Students develop skills in orthographic projection, diagramming, perspective, and sketching, exploring the relationship between form, space, and material. The course emphasizes visual thinking as a tool for design development and establishes the basis for subsequent digital representation courses. Corequisite: ARCH 5690 .
